Hey, thanks for that. Not only is it cute signature look, keeps your fringe from getting guts on it! And then in your eyes. Which would be… bad. Its not so much a beauty tip, as a 'how not to get infected eyeballs' tip. Which i think is more fitting. Ive got curly, frizzy hair, easily as long as yours, n wild fringes can be a pain in the ass. Fine in the morning, but can get a little crazy mid arvo. Sometimes you can just tuck it behind your ear, n its fine. Sometimes that is just not an option. Closest ive come to your situation is after being out fishing all day, your a little windswept, n your cleaning a box of fish. Guts n blood n scales to the elbows, n a wad of hair keeps smackin you in the face. Cant touch it, cos then there is blood n guts n scales… smackin you in the face.

Forget beauty vloggers, youve weilded a giant wolfs penis covered in blood at the world. You need no warpaint. N you rock your look, adorable, facinating, n cheeky. Its a winner.

Id like to try the braid, but im not sure how it'll match the beard…

Much love, thanks for all the great content. Keep it up!

Omg is that Bach's violin sonatas and partitas in the back? I think you might actually be the coolest person alive. I'm now dying to hear you play the violin.

I'm 100% sure those poly bands are a side effect of people who wore braces as kids that needed the bands and they were like "Hey, you know this would be a cool invisible like hair band!" You are as charming doing a side braid tutorial as you are cutting up animals on the internet Ms. Graslie! Never stop grinning 🙂

    This video format is mind-gold!!

Why not make "make up" videos—or just random-like videos—where you inform people of seemingly random—albeit informative—facts about your work. It was entertaining and informative, something that rarely happens in "make up" videos.

    Hahaha.

I would never have asked for this but when I stumbled upon your second channel a couple years ago and found this, I now use this technique almost everyday for work! Because you don't do this in beauty blogger style I was actually able to follow this really easily, and although I agree that people should be asking about science-y questions, I would be lying if I didn't say this was a big help in getting unruly hair to stay put!

This is something different ) Me, I love having long hair, but I also hate it getting everywhere, so I either braid it, or make a bun or a knot and use a single hair stick to hold the bun/knot together.

Thank you so much! I love how utilitarian yet pretty this style is — and now I can think of the Brain Scoop every time I do my hair! Just like I learned to do a fishtail braid, so I could be a little more like Wonder Woman, and I did the 3-bun-style to mimick Rey in Star Wars; now I can be a little more like another one of my heroes — YOU!

Thanks for humoring us, and thank you for being a great presence in science and the internet.
The world is a better place because of The Brain Scoop. <3

I had very conflicting opinions while watching this. I understand you dont want to take these type of questions too seriously but it was important enough that people continuously asked you about it… so why not take it more seriously? It may not be what you do for a living but it is a part of your life. If not why not just wear it down all the time. Any question is a good question.
