Instead of elastic bands I use a cotton thread to sew the hair at the end of a braid, and I put the beads on while I braid them (inside the braid itself) or on top of the braid, securing them with a couple of stitches.

Here is a tip from a pro bead wearer. Fold the bottom part of your hair in half (the whispy part that isnt braided) and it will be easier to feed to bead through the rest of your hair.

I love this beads, but shipping internationally from the US is a nightmare 🙁 tried to find some good once in europe had to look at one to many pictures of dreadlocks and gave up
