So, here’s a few things I’ve figured out in my adventure of curly hair.
1. It’s never going too be straight unless you perm it but do you really wanna ruin your hair?? also think about straight hair is kinda boring like us curly haired people have more life in us
2. Do not brush it unless you wanna look like you’re from the 80’s. You will look like a frizz ball and it’s not fun to fix. (I found this out the hard way)
3. Take care of your hair. I mean if you’re going too be stuck with it for almost the rest of your life wear it proud and do not hate your hair
I’ve learned too love my curly hair and I’d maybe never give it up for straight

We have a very similar hair pattern! Especially with the straighter pieces by the ear, any tips on how to blend those straighter pieces in with the rest of my curls without heat?

Using the brush as a microphone oh wow she got a sense of humor …. at 30 secs in thinking ok maybe she is over doing it a bit! Then only then when she has to touch her hair is it put down. CAMERA MAN CAN YOU PKEASE FILM AND HILD MY MICROPHO…. I a mean brush as you film!!!! I am may have bit been going overboard I just could not focus on anything out damn you woman

I would lose the microphone idea. It looks silly (especially when you're a grown-up and not a toddler anymore) and is unnecessary.

My hair is wet right now and I am not trying it. I have curly hair, but you aren’t supposed to brush curly hair at all unless it’s wet, and you aren’t a supposed to braid wet, it increases Hair fallout.

You should NEVER ever ever ever brush curly hair unless you want your hair to look 10x it’s own mass and frizz extremely bad.

OMG! Just tried it your way and it came out perfectly the first time! Thank you. I had been separating the locks. Never in a million years would have thought to braid while damp or to start with thicker sections!
FYI I never get knots or frizz and I am stopped a few times a month by parents of curly girls for advice. I can post a how-to on avoiding knots and tangles (with or without product names) for you to review if you'd like.

This helped me so much! I braided my hair for 17 years with a ponytail and until now it’s my hairstyle because I don’t know how to style my hair. And I always brush it after I take a bath and in the end of the day I always have a frizzy hair.
