I have been wanting to learn how to french braids for years. I have two daughters and although they are grownups now, I always had other people to do their hair when they were little. I have tried to french braid several times before, but I am all thumbs and the hair get all wrapped around my fingers. It just becomes a disaster and I get discouraged, however I would still love to learn how to French braid. The model in the video has very beautiful hair by the way. She makes it look so simple as 1 -2 – 3.

Ah! Hold the 1st section with ring finger and Pinky, and then use point finger to reach the 2nd section, then use middle finger hold the 3rd!

One recommendation. It is easier to braid with wet hair because the hair are more manageable.

I understand how the braid works, my my fingers keep getting confused and grabbing the wrong parts. Then I end up dropping sections of hair or mixing them up. I can't get my hands to do what I want them to 😞
